You had the bakery, on the corner of Young Street and Wells Street, that's where the bakery used to be. Used to bake bread and rolls and this sort of thing.
That moved from there up to Franklin Street, which was off Beach Street, towards where the dairy is and everything else, that's where they moved, and it was taken over by Tip-Top, and they ran there for a while.
Then they moved, and closed it down, and a chap by the name of Bolt - he used to do the dough making, and when we were kids we used to be allowed to go round there and see Mr Bolt at night and watch him make the bread and all that in the big machines. They had monstrous big,
well, in those days to us it was monstrous, big tub. And that's where he used to make the bread.
